Let's ask for forgiveness to one another and Allah before it's too late (Na'oothubillah)!

Abu Hurairah (Radianlahu Anhu) reported: The Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wa salaam) said, "He who has done a wrong affecting his brother's honour or anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a dinar nor a dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the same proportion". [Al-Bukhari].
This Hadith tells us that if one does not compensate a person who has been harmed by one and has not been pardoned for it, then it would have a serious consequence in the Hereafter. Its detail is mentioned in this Hadith. Thus, negligence in the case of public rights, which we take very lightly, is in fact ruinous. A reminder to myself first and foremost.

***EVERYTHING IS A REMINDER TO MYSELF FIRST AND FOREMOST***

May Allah forgive us for all our transgressions. May Allah make the people who I have wronged to please forgive me as well.  Everyone who I have wronged, please forgive me.

Don't let your prayers go to waste with horoscopes!!!

The Prophet’s Salallahu Alayhi Wa salam said: "The Salah (daily prayer) of whoever approaches a fortune-teller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for forty days and nights." [(Sahih Muslim) 4, p. 1211, no. 5440).]
Not only is the practice of astrology Haram, but also visiting an astrologist and listening to his predictions, buying books on astrology or reading one’s horoscope are also forbidden! Since astrology is mainly used for predicting the future, those who practice it are considered fortune-tellers.

The punishment in this Hadeeth is simply for approaching and asking the astrologist, even if one is in doubt about the truth of his statements. If one is in doubt about the truth or falsehood of astrological information, he is in doubt about whether or not others know the unseen and the future besides Allah. This is a form of Shirk because Allah has clearly stated:

"With Him are the keys to the unseen and none knows it except Him" [Soorah al-An`aa,m 6:59]

"Say: None in the heavens or earth knows the unseen except Allaah." [Soorah an-Naml 27:65]

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa sallam) "Whoever approaches an oracle or fortune-teller and believes in what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." (Sunan Abu Dawud vol. 3, p. 1095, no. 3895).]

TWO CHARACTERISTICS WHICH, IF ONE OBSERVES THEM, WILL CAUSE HIM TO ENTER PARADISE

Abdullah ibn Amr reported that the Prophet, salalahu Alaihi Wa Salam, said, "There are 2 characteristics which, if one observes them, will cause him to enter Paradise. They are very easy actions, but very few perform them."
The people said, "What are they, O Messenger of Allah (Salalahu Alayhi Wasalam)?" He said:
"To Praise Allah: ALHAMDULILLAH
Extol His Greatness: ALLAHU AKBAR
and Glorify Him: SUBHANALLAH
at the end of every obligatory prayer [10 times] each.
When one goes to bed, he should:
Glorify Allah: SUBHANALLAH
Praise Him: ALHAMDULILLAH
and Extol His Greatness: ALLAHU AKBAR
[100 times each].
Those are, in total, only 250 actions of the tongue, yet they are equal to 2500 on the scale. does any of you commit 2500 sins during one day and night?" They asked, "How come those easy actions are performed by so few?" He said, "SATAN comes to one during his prayer and reminds him of such and such need, and he fails to say the (above). He (Satan) comes to him in his bed and makes him sleep so that he can not say them."
Abdullah said, " I have seen the Messenger of Allah (Salalahu Alayhi Walayhi) counting them on his fingers."
[This is related by Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi, who called it hassan sahih]

Note there is another narration of this hadith with the number of the tasbihs being 33 each except at night, Allahu Akbar is 34 times.

A reminder to myself first and foremost.

Asiyah ( Pharaoh’s Wife ): A Story that Pierces the Heart

Asiyah ( Pharaoh’s Wife ): A Story that Pierces the Heart

source: Tafseer Ibn Katheer

Qatadah said, "Fir`awn was the most tyrannical among the people of the earth and the most disbelieving. By Allah! His wife was not affected by her husband's disbelief, because she obeyed her Lord. Therefore, let it be known that Allah is the Just Judge Who will not punish anyone except for their own sins.''

Ibn Jarir recorded that Sulayman said,
"The wife of Fir`awn was tortured under the sun and when Fir`awn would finish the torture session, the angels would shade her with their wings. She was shown her house in Paradise.''
Ibn Jarir said that Al-Qasim bin Abi Bazzah said,
"Fir`awn's wife used to ask, `Who prevailed' When she was told, `Musa and Harun prevailed', she said, `I believe in the Lord of Musa and Harun.' Fir`awn sent his aides to her and said to them, `Find the biggest stone. If she insists on keeping her faith, throw the stone on her, otherwise she is my wife. When they came to her, she looked up to the sky and was able to see her house in Paradise. She persisted on the faith and her soul was then captured. The stone was thrown on her lifeless body.''
This is the meaning of her statement,
(My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir`awn and his work,) means, `deliver me from him, because I am innocent of his actions,'
(and save me from the people who are wrongdoers.) Her name was Asiyah bint Muzahim, may Allah be pleased with her.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "The Messenger of Allah drew four lines on the ground and said,
( Do you know what these lines represent) They said, `Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said,
( The best among the women of Paradise are Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint `Imran and Asiyah bint Muzahim, wife of Fir`awn.)
It is confirmed in the Two Sahihs from Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari that the Messenger of Allah said,
( Many men have reached the level of perfection, but none among women have reached this level except Asiyah -- Fir`awn's wife, Maryam--the daughter of `Imran, and Khadijah--the daughter of Khuwaylid. And no doubt, the superiority of `A'ishah to other women is like the superiority of Tharid to other meals.)

"Prayer is between Myself and My Servant"

Abu Hurayrah (R.A) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Blessing and Peace upon Him) said:
“Allah, the Exalted, said,
`I have divided the prayer into two halves between Myself and My servant, and My Servant shall have what he asks for.
If he says: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
`Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds’
Allah says, `My servant has praised Me.’
When the servant says: الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
`Most Gracious, Most Merciful’.
Allah says, `My servant has glorified Me.’
When he says:مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
`Master of the Day of Judgment.’
Allah says, `My servant has related all matters to Me.’
When he says: إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
`Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.’
Allah says, `This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall acquire what he sought.’
When he says:
`Show us the straight way. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.’
Allah says, `This is for My servant, and My servant shall acquire what he asked for.’”
